The quaint former mill village of Woodberry in North Baltimore is one step closer to becoming a city-designated historic district.

The city Planning Commission voted 6-2 on Thursday to endorse a push to designate an 80-acre parcel, abutting Druid Hill Park on one side and Hampden on the other, as the Woodberry Historic District.
